The market.
Chef's Origin set out to build its full digital ecosystem from the ground up: brand identity, marketing site, mobile app for clients, and internal tooling. Branding was the first step, and the most consequential, because it would set the tone for every surface that followed. The brief: build an identity strong enough to rally a community around it.
The product challenge.
The core challenge was designing a premium brand in a market where, in Morocco, microgreen production had no established visual language to react against. The identity also had to scale internationally from the start. We needed a system that felt high-end and deliberate in a category that was still finding its shape.
The architecture.
We started with market research across Morocco and reference international markets to surface differentiation angles for Chef's Origin. From there we explored several directional routes, with a particular focus on a refined black-and-white treatment. The output: a complete design system now deployed across every brand surface, from the mobile app to product packaging.
